Full time position available in our dispensary. We currently employ 1 fulltime optician and 1 full time optometric assistant.

Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30-5:00. Wednesday 8:30-7:00. The office is closed on weekends.

Duties:

- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses

- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features

- Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences

- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed

- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance

- Process orders and manage inventory of eyewear products

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in retail sales or retail management is preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear

- Knowledge of different types of lenses, frames, and lens coatings

- Familiarity with vision insurance plans and billing procedures is a plus

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
